Why We Built This Site
Florida provides several public access routes, yet no single office holds every part of a Columbia County history. The Sheriff maintains its agency and custody records. The Clerk keeps filed charges, docket events, judgments, and dispositions. FDLE operates the statewide criminal-history repository, while the Florida Department of Corrections and FDLE Sexual Offenders and Predators Search answer different custody, supervision, and registration questions. This site puts the relevant contacts, official searches, request steps, and documented fees in a clearer order.

This is a privately operated reference site with no affiliation to a Florida court, sheriff, police department, or state agency. Its role has firm limits:

- It cannot certify a court document, criminal history, or other government record
- It does not provide legal advice about an individual charge or case
- It cannot promise that an agency's hours, fees, or contacts have not changed
An official copy must come from its custodian, such as the Columbia County Sheriff, Clerk of Court, or FDLE.
